Responsible for creating and maintaining code and architecture for core office data pipelines and deliverables, including 108 data tables and 1566 table tests, using prefect, DBT, and AWS cdk
    • Creator and maintainer of code repository for calculating and producing, annually, $500 million total grant awards payments for 131 grantees and using appropriations and census data, reducing days of effort to a few hours including review.
    • Principal lead in writing application code for the office’s annual By the Numbers report tables in a modular, reproducible manner, thereby reducing total labor hours spent by roughly 75 percent.
    • Co-Creator and Maintainer of the organization-wide Risk Assessment, a ranking of 131 grantees based on 44 indicators and 60+ data points across 3 organizational offices, that is utilized by the staff members to select the end of the year site visits.
    • Actively engage in code review, design, and integrating DevOPs best practices into the architecture and operational workflow of data pipelines,including continuous integration/continuous delivery using containerization, Infrastructure as Code (aws cdk), test driven development, data modeling, and reliance on project management tools such as Trello, Jira, and Confluence, thereby reducing bottlenecks in development and information for projects such as the central data lake for civil court cases nationwide.

    • Analyzed the effect of adopting the Chained Consumer Price Index on the eligible target population for legal services as a brief for the CEO and evaluated the quantitative impact of the organization’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) on staff tenure of beneficiaries using R, Python and Stata that was used as evidence for additional funding requests.
